Rob Nettleton said he knows journalism students are supposed to have a strong voice on campus, which corresponds well with his slogan: "Because it's Our Reputation."

Nettleton said he feels he could help maintain and improve the journalism school’s reputation by being elected to CUSA’s journalism councillor position.

A second-year journalism student, Nettleton said he has been involved with student politics as far back as high school and is currently the Carleton Academic Student Government’s vice-president (academic).

Running for journalism councillor unopposed, Nettleton said he intends to address audio-visual bans for CUSA elections and work towards offering a co-op option for journalism students.
